Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Her birth date was 11th November 1966. After her first small performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985), she went onto play the Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan's role as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody began modeling when she was approached. The result was that it turned out to be a lucrative career. Doody was extremely strict about not doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to Doody's acting work. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was listed as one of the top 12 promising young Actors from 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody She was just 18 when she played the part of Doody in the movie A Prayer for the Dying (1987) with Mickey Rourke. She is the tiniest Bond Girl to date. A different early film was a small part in the role of IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that starred Mickey Rourke. Doody played an unseen role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias when she appeared in his dream, 1987's adaptation from The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading character in the film Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she starred alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. The most memorable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. In 1991 Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. The choice was made to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal She went on to perform alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II in the role of Flannery his agent and girlfriend. Doody's return to the screen was in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. The year 2004, she was in the film in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance on Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama, aired on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. In November she was awarded the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and was awarded a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
